40 Days of Prayer (May 24)

Weekly Theme: Praying for People!

“Oikos” is the Greek word used to refer to a persons household or a unit within society.

This week we will be praying for specific people in the various “oikoi” of our life. Think through who those people might be. Maybe it’s your direct family. Maybe it’s the people at your workplace or your favorite coffee shop. Maybe it’s the group you hike with on the weekends.

Pray to the Lord for your presence among the people on your Oikos map. Pray for protection against temptation and the things this world draws us to. Consider and pray over how you conduct yourself in the presence of unbelievers.

1 Peter 2:11-12 (ESV)
