40 Days of Prayer (May 25)

Weekly Theme: Praying for People!

“Oikos” is the Greek word used to refer to a persons household or a unit within society.

This week we will be praying for specific people in the various “oikoi” of our life. Think through who those people might be. Maybe it’s your direct family. Maybe it’s the people at your workplace or your favorite coffee shop. Maybe it’s the group you hike with on the weekends.

As a follower of Christ, you are filled with the Holy Spirit. You have a gift that is more powerful than any material gift or favor you can give. While we should seek to bless others, know and pray that the Lord has given us all we need to address lost people with the Gospel truth… THE HOLY SPIRIT!

But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

Acts 3:6 (ESV)
